The Curriculum
Two courses, one lawful process:
Course ONE: Honor with Equity
What You'll Learn
Real remedies. Honor-based. Court-tested.
- 01Discharge debt while remaining in full honor.
- 02Discharge civil or criminal charges brought against you.
- 03Come into honor with tax agencies, so the response you receive is “no further action is necessary” — without arguing or volunteering the fruits of your labor.
- 04Be prepared for any situation before any judge, using the strongest court scripts available.
- 05Build confidence with live role-play sessions for courtroom practice.
- 06Create powerful personalized documents, taught down to the smallest detail.
- 07Apply Equity on behalf of your business, ministry, or personal affairs using the lawful remedies the doctrine provides. (Trust structure and setup are taught in our companion class, the Equity Trust System.)
- 08Understand why Equity's way of peace produces the highest success rate of any process — and why arguing almost always loses.
How the Course Works
Honor with Equity is a live course — 13 sessions, taught by JD Swan on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM Eastern. Each session builds on the last, moving from foundational vocabulary and maxims through increasingly advanced application.
Alongside the live sessions, students receive access to pre-recorded Module Sections containing vital foundational material — designed to be worked through at your own pace and revisited as your understanding deepens.
Throughout the course, students join a private group where questions are welcomed and answered. The group is moderated by JD, Margaret, and members of the Standing on the Rock team — so no question goes unanswered and no student works through this alone. Margaret brings the “art of inquiry” — the questions that prick the conscience and focus in on what Equity is actually addressing in each situation.
When the live series ends, your access does not.
Alumni retain full access to all class recordings and are welcomed into the alumni community — a group that functions like an advanced class in itself. The conversations there are some of the most valuable in the entire program.
Alumni also receive ongoing access to every future iteration of Honor with Equity — at no additional cost.
JD teaches every session personally. He has applied Equity with success, watched it transform people's lives, and teaches it with passion and precision.
Beyond the Courtroom
Equity is a way of conducting your private and public life — not just a courtroom skill.
The Honor with Equity curriculum extends well past the courtroom. Over the run of the course, students also work through:
- →Applying Equity inside a private business or ministry.
- →The working mechanics of banking, the Federal Reserve, and how modern commercial law operates in daily life.
- →Psychological and rhetorical insights that strengthen your standing in any room — including the courtroom.
- →Specific tax cases, strategies, and a library of real court case studies.
- →The art of the “Notice of Inquiry” — a more powerful and flexible instrument than a FOIA request.
- →An introduction to trusts, Private Member Associations (PMAs), and Self-Supporting Ministries (SSMs) — explored in full in the companion course, The Equity Trust System.
- →Speaking with confidence and clarity to authority figures in any arena.
- →Understanding your standing as a private man or woman — and why Equity addresses the living person, not the administrative entity the system creates when it interacts with you commercially.

Course TWO: The Equity Trust System
What you resolve with Equity, you protect with structure.
Build the fortress that keeps it. For students ready to move from remedy to legacy.
Honor with Equity is a required pre- or co-requisite for this course.
A Mighty Fortress
Learn how to protect your family, your business, and your assets — without surrendering control — by setting up a pure, irrevocable, non-statutory Equity Trust System. The structure rests on the inherent right to contract, which is what makes it both lawful and structured to operate outside the reach of public commercial statutes — the way trust law has always been intended to function.
Students in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa have applied this framework. Country-specific guidance is included in the course.
Used correctly, these structures render you judgment-resistant in the ways trust law makes possible, properly insulated from personal liability, and able to remain private without giving up the ability to do business in the public. You will operate at arm's length while retaining lawful authority over the affairs the trust is built to hold — and pass that authority on, in good order, to those who come after you.
Taught live by JD Swan. Margaret Swan co-researches and co-teaches every series, bringing the art of inquiry — the questions that surface what Equity is really addressing in each situation.
Required Foundation
“This is not a marketing structure; it is a teaching one.”
The trust structure rests on the working understanding of Equity that the foundational course teaches. Students may take Honor with Equity first and return to The Equity Trust System later, or take both concurrently — but no student enters the trust course without the foundational Equity material in place.
This is not a marketing structure; it is a teaching one. The trust system depends on vocabulary, maxims, and procedures that Honor with Equity establishes. Without that foundation, the trust material will not land — and the structures students attempt to build will not hold.
What This Structure Protects
“Equity resolves the matter. Structure preserves the result.”
Honor with Equity teaches students how to discharge debts, dismiss charges, and bring agency matters into honor. The Equity Trust System teaches what comes next — the structures that hold what Equity has cleared.
A properly constructed trust system can:
- —Hold property outside personal name and outside public record — so what is yours by right is not exposed by paperwork.
- —Separate personal and business obligations cleanly — so a difficulty in one cannot compromise the other.
- —Pass assets across generations without probate, estate tax exposure, or public disclosure — preserving family wealth as it was intended to pass.
- —Operate ministries (SSM) and Private Member Associations (PMA) on lawful private footing — so the work the structure was built to do is not subject to commercial statutes designed for public entities.
- —Preserve the privacy of family affairs — without surrendering the ability to do business, hold accounts, or build credit in the public.
None of this is theoretical. The course teaches the documents, the formation, the operation, and the protection — line by line, structure by structure.
You will learn the Best Practices for even the worst case scenarios.
What You'll Learn
Ten outcomes — what changes for you the day you finish.
- 01Create layered degrees of separation across multiple entities for maximum liability protection.
- 02Establish ministries and Private Member Associations as your situation requires.
- 03Maintain full lawful authority over your business interests inside the trust framework.
- 04Discharge tax liabilities for both public and private entities in full honor with Equity.
- 05Recognize and avoid the structural elements that void protection.
- 06Structure your commercial activity so that your private affairs remain private and your public obligations are handled in honor, not fear.
- 07Draft the documents that properly convey assets into the structure.
- 08Operate through your entities — set up bank accounts, conduct business, and build credit lawfully.
- 09Promote family values and shared, generational success across the structure.
- 10Protect generational wealth by structuring assets to pass outside probate, estate taxes, and public record.
Beyond the Documents
The trust course teaches more than how to set up a structure. Over the run of the course, students also work through:
- →How to become judgment-resistant through proper structure.
- →The history of trust law most attorneys were never taught — and why that history matters now.
- →Preserving trust knowledge that was nearly lost to censorship and disuse.
- →Working through real historical examples to avoid the common pitfalls students fall into.
- →Applying case precedents to strengthen your own structure.
- →Avoiding probate and estate taxes through lawful trust mechanics.
- →Standing in confidence when the structure is questioned by parties who do not understand it.
Why Properly Formed Trusts Endure
Trusts have held property, protected family wealth, and preserved generational legacies for over six hundred years. Every common-law jurisdiction recognizes them. The mechanics are not novel; they are the oldest equitable instrument the doctrine has produced.
What this course teaches is how to form one correctly — outside the statutory frameworks that modern attorneys typically default to, and inside the equitable principles that gave trusts their original purpose: holding what conscience requires to be held.
