Live course · Begins Wednesday, November 4 · 13 sessions · Every session recorded

Every claim against you is an offer. Learn to answer it in honor.

Honor With Equity is JD Swan's 13-week live course on the Equity side of the law: how to bring a debt, a charge, or a tax matter to settlement and closure without arguing, without hiding, and without fear.

Wednesdays 6:00 PM Eastern · Lifetime recordings · Free attendance at every future series · Students in seven countries

Three things people do when a claim arrives. All three build the wrong record.

A notice comes. A collection letter, a summons, a tax bill. Almost everyone does one of three things: ignores it, argues with it, or pays it to make it stop.

Ignoring it is a default. Arguing with it is a controversy, and a courtroom is a machine for processing controversy. Paying it accepts the claim exactly as stated. Every one of those leaves a record that says you agreed.

There is a fourth way, and it is older than the IRS, older than the banks, older than the country. Equity, the conscience-based branch of the law, sits in every courtroom in the common law world. It asks three questions of every claim: who is actually making it, what exactly is being claimed, and what is it based on. Asked in honor, on the record, those three questions change what happens next. That is what this course teaches.

What you will be able to do by session 13

    1. 1Answer any claim that comes to your name from a position of honor, on paper, on the record, without arguing.
    2. 2Bring debts to settlement and closure using the remedies Equity provides.
    3. 3Stand before a judge on civil charges and criminal traffic matters with the court scripts students use, practiced in live role-play before you ever need them.
    4. 4Come into honor with tax agencies, working toward the response students have received: "no further action is necessary."
    5. 5Draft your own documents, taught down to the detail, and know why every line is there.
    6. 6Use the Notice of Inquiry, a more flexible instrument than a FOIA request.
    7. 7Apply Equity inside a business or ministry, and understand how banking and modern commerce actually operate.
    8. 8Understand why the way of peace works where arguing fails, and walk into any room, including a courtroom, without fear.

Ten minutes of the course, free

This is from the live workshop JD taught in October: the three things people do with a claim, and the fourth way. If this makes sense to you, the course is thirteen weeks of it, applied to your own matters.

    How the course works

    13 live sessions.

Wednesdays at 6:00 PM Eastern, taught by JD Swan personally. Each session builds on the last, from vocabulary and maxims to advanced application. Every session is recorded and yours for life.

    Modules.

Pre-recorded foundation material to work through at your own pace, before and between sessions.

    The private group.

Questions answered by JD, Margaret, and the team every week. Nobody works through this alone.

    Live role-play.

Courtroom practice in class, so the first time you say it out loud is not in front of a judge.

    After the series.

Alumni keep every recording, join the alumni community, and attend every future Honor With Equity series at no cost. Many take it twice and say the second pass is where it lands.

    Beyond the courtroom

Equity is a way of conducting your private and public life, not only a courtroom skill. Over the run of the course students also work through: applying Equity inside a private business or ministry; the working mechanics of banking, the Federal Reserve, and modern commercial law in daily life; the art of the Notice of Inquiry; specific tax cases and a library of real court case studies; speaking with confidence to authority in any arena; and your standing as a private man or woman, and why Equity addresses the living person rather than the administrative entity created when the system deals with you commercially.

This course is for you if

    • ✓A claim is on your desk, or one is coming, and you want to answer it yourself and understand what you are doing.
    • ✓You have been in the patriot world, tried the paperwork, and want the thing that holds up.
    • ✓You run a business or ministry and want to handle its obligations in honor.
    • ✓You want to build a trust that holds, and you understand the foundation comes first.

It is not for you if

    • ✕You want to stop paying for things you are still using. Equity settles and closes accounts. It is not a way to consume for free, and a utility you still use can shut you off.
    • ✕You are looking for a secret account, a coupon, or a signature that makes a bill disappear. Those are not Equity, and we will tell you so.
    • ✕You want someone to do it for you. We teach you to stand. Private coaching exists for students who want help alongside the course.

    Your teachers

JD Swan was a systems engineer who lost his career to a mandate in 2021, spent a year bringing Equity to his own family's matters, then began teaching. He has taught Honor With Equity to students in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa. He is not a lawyer, and he says so in the first session.

Margaret Swan co-researches and co-teaches every series. She brings the art of inquiry: the questions that find what Equity is actually addressing in each situation.

Step two: keep what you settle

Honor With Equity settles the matter. The Equity Trust System is how students protect what is settled: a pure, irrevocable, non-statutory trust built on the right to contract, holding property outside the personal name, passing it across generations without probate, estate tax exposure, or public disclosure, and operating ministries and private member associations on private footing. 12 live sessions, Tuesdays at 6:00 PM Eastern, beginning December 1. Honor With Equity is the prerequisite, prior or alongside.
